Community, Commitment, Calling

In 2019, we released our Manifesto. This is what makes us tick, it’s what gets us up in the morning, and it informs everything we do.

You can find this up in every room of our studio. We live by it, and we hope that it helps make the world a better place.

Brio is more than a school; it is a community. We are all connected here — young and old, expert and beginner — and through that connection and community, we can be a powerful force in the lives of our students and families. Brio is a safe, nurturing environment for every student who enters our doors. We are an opening, welcoming community — there is a place at Brio for everyone. We are committed to providing exemplary education in all disciplines, while also focusing on cultivating students who go out into the world and make it a better place through their kindness and compassion.

We are committed to providing the highest quality training — our instructors are accomplished, lifelong learners with a passion for education, and they believe in the role Brio can play in helping to develop accomplished, confident citizens of our community. We are dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment at all times, and we are devoted to mentoring our students and preparing them for whatever path they may choose. Every class at Brio is designed to maximize cognitive, creative, physical and social development in each of our students, all key skill-sets to help set them up for outstanding results in life.

We are called to be educators and champions for our students at every stage of learning. We encourage all students who come through our doors to strive for their personal best, while also supporting and encouraging their fellow students. It is not enough for us to simply train our students to be accomplished; we must also encourage creativity, open-mindedness, thoughtfulness, dedication, respect, integrity, grit, humility and empathy. Our ultimate goal is to engage our students in the transformative concept of lifelong learning, so that we can help to grow accomplished, thoughtful leaders that can go out into the world and do great things.
