Drama

Drama at Brio:
Serious Fun. Big Impact.

At Brio, drama isn’t just about putting on a show—it’s about helping kids find their voice, build confidence, and explore the magic of storytelling.
In our drama classes, students tap into their natural creativity and curiosity while learning the foundational tools of theatre: monologues, scene work, improv, diction, character development, and more.
But it doesn’t stop there. Drama at Brio also nurtures essential life skills—like public speaking, collaboration, spontaneity, and self-expression—in a fun, welcoming space where every child belongs.
Whether your child dreams of the spotlight or just wants to build confidence and connection, drama at Brio is a joyful, meaningful place to grow.

Theatre Basics

Understanding and beginning to master the core theatre skills! Movement, projection, diction and character building. These are important, foundational skills that will help students in school, in public speaking, and increasing their confidence in all areas of life!

Theatre Craft

After we cover the basics, we start expanding on their skill base by introducing storytelling and more advanced character-building. This is all about self-expression, and learning how to bring a new character to life on stage.

Performance

The fun part – putting these skills to work for a performance that showcases their unique talents and abilities! They are ready to demonstrate the skills they’ve been working on all year, and will be excited to show them off for their friends and family at the end of the year.
